Arti Shah, OD, FAAO

Arti Shah, OD, FAAO is a medical optometrist currently practicing at Elander Eyecare and is on the medical staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry (UCBSO) and then went on to complete her fellowship training in Cornea and Contact Lens and served as Assistant Clinical Professor at the SUNY College of Optometry. Subsequently, she served as staff optometrist at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Jules Stein Eye Institute where she examined patients, worked with residents, and participated in clinical trials. In addition to being a Professional Affairs Consultant for Johnson & Johnson Institute for over twelve years, Dr. Shah is also an industry recognized key opinion leader for Sun Pharmaceuticals and an advisory board member for Sight Sciences. She has been involved in various clinical studies, presented, and published articles on contact lenses, cornea and ocular health. Dr. Shah works extensively in the areas of dry eye management and the fitting of specialty contact lenses including lenses for irregular corneas such as keratoconus, corneal disorders, myopia management and patients with ocular surface disease.
